Survey Gisborne Limited was first established in March 1999 by company directors and owners Kevin Taylor and Richard Pearce.

Survey Gisborne Limited provides a range of survey services to their client’s in Gisborne and other parts of New Zealand. Their diversity in various areas of expertise is worth checking out and you can be assured their services are delivered to a high professional standard.

Richard Pearce holds a NZ Certificate in Survey Draughting which he obtained in 1981 after he started his career with the Lands and Survey Department in Gisborne.  Since then he has obtained qualifications in Business Management. Richard’s various responsibilities include being the Frontline Office Manager for the business. He is generally the first point of contact for clients to discuss their work requirements. Kevin Taylor started his surveying career in 1977 firstly as a Survey Technician.  In 1981 Kevin obtained a NZ Certificate in Land Surveying. In 1984 he attended University of Otago, for three years, completing a Bachelor of Surveying degree (with credit).  Prior to setting up the company, Survey Gisborne Limited, in March 1999, Kevin worked in various parts of the country, both in the private and public sector and has also undertaken a stint in Antarctica.  He has gained vast experience and knowledge in all aspects of surveying. Kevin also completed numerous courses and training to keep up with the ever changing technologies. As many of his clients know Kevin is passionate about his profession and business.

Kevin Taylor is currently a member of the NZ Institute of Surveyors, the Consulting Surveyor of NZ and the Royal Society of NZ.  He is currently the local branch chairman for the NZ Institute of Surveyors.
